Still apartment hunting and im in the stage where im gathering information on the areas, i have favorites but their expensive.

how are morningside heights, i heard its "college town" of NYC, but it worries me that its on the line of Harlem..

In my opinion, Morningside Heights is pretty sketchy. Morningside Heights is not the worst, but far from the best. Personally, I would look into other neighborhoods.

However, safety varies on an individual basis. My advice would be to take a walk through the neighborhood at night to make a decision.

Depends on where in Morningside Heights the buildings are. Be aware- the better the deal, the bigger the chance there's something wrong with it.

Do you have a job yet? You'll also want to consider the commute to work.
