Yeah man. I'm very, very close to joining them. Its an awesome gym, never gets too packed, even during the busiest of hours. At midnight, its like the gym is yours. You don't have to wait on machines or have guys lining up for them.

Have you considered Brooklyn Barbell Club for Olympic/Power Lifting? It is not 24 hour, but it seems like it could be a good place.

Okay, nevermind. I did the research myself, and now I know exactly what you mean. However, I can ONLY assume its freaking expensive, so unfortunately, unless I win the lotto, I won' be joining that gym. It cost about twice as much as the membership I plan on getting at Star Fitness.

Cost will be the last thing on your mind as you're sitting on the table, admiring the views of the Hudson while partaking in the amazing deep tissue massage.

The Sports Center at Chelsea Piers is the best gym/sports facility I've set foot in, in the world (and I travel lots). You get what you pay for.

Was wondering if any one had any other suggestions for affordable gyms, seeing as winter is right around the corner

How about NYSC? I see the membership rate is $79 per month. Does anyone belong to this gym and have any feedback?
