Hi all,
Does anybody know anything about the Jefferson St and Knickerbocker av intersection of Williamsburg? Near the L train at Morgan av?

Found an apartment listing near there, but am not sure of the area. We're going to have a baby soon, so we're looking for neighborhoods with some shops, restaurants relatively close by, friendly neighbors, etc...
thanks!
Kris

That's Bushwick. Its an ok part of bushwick, relatively safe, but its a bit of a walk from the main drags of shops in Williamsburg.

not to knock that area, as Bushwick does seems to be on the rise, but for your requirements, you can pick a better area. If you want williamsburg, try to stay close to bedford/lorimer/graham stops on L.

[In the background, you hear the ominous music from "Jaws"...]

The real estate industry, shifting names around to help their sales...

That's Bushwick, not Williamsburg. That part of Bushwick isn't horrible, but I wouldn't live there with a baby on the way.
