Town Houses in the Monroe NY area (New City, Ridge: HOA, taxes)

My fiancee & I are looking at town houses in the Monroe Ny area. I live in Orangeburg with my family & work in Ramsey, she live in Walden with her family & works in New City. We are concidering
Harriman
Monroe
Woodbury
Central Valley
Highland Mills
Chester

Places near the highway. Anyone have any suggestions for town house complexes in that area? We just require that its under $180k, low HOA & low taxes

Not exactly sure on the prices but I would check out Timber Ridge in Highland Mills, Brookside in Harriman, or Cromwell Hill Commons in Monroe or Windridge also in Monroe.

Thanks for the suggestions. Some of those places are bit out of our price range unfortunatly. Anyone know how Whispering Hills in Chester is? I've heard a couple people say bad things about it so far about gangs & rowdiness, but I've heard more people say its nice there.

Personally if it was just me and the wife I would consider it for short term but not with kids or anything longer than a year or two max (whispering hills)
