I went through Valley Central and was very well prepared for undergraduate studies. Many courses for college credit are offered (I graduated with over a semester's worth). The teachers are pleasant and helpful. Senior graduating classes are usually ~400.
Negative: One of the lowest expenditure-per-student rates in the area.
