Just curious, what are some other small towns with operational movie theaters? Here are some I could think of: Ohmann Theatre - a renovated 1915 theatre in Lyons, New York

Strand

The Strand - Showtimes

Lowville Town Hall Theater

The Colonia Theatre - The Colonia Theatre

The Palace Theatre in Corning (link is to their FAQ)
I know Corning is technically a "city," but with a population of only 10-11k, I think it qualifies as a small town! And this independent theater is on Market Street, very quaint. The only other theaters I know of in the area are 1) in the Arnot Mall and 2) the Crystal Cinemas in Painted Post, which is in a strip mall and is owned by one of the bigger multiplex corporations.

Good one and I totally forgot about it. This is another one I just remembered: Oswego Cinema 7 - Zurich Cinemas - Proudly serving Oswego, New York with the latest movies from Hollywood

Capra Cinema, Hancock, NY; Callicoon Theater, Callicoon, NY; State Theater, Deposit, NY; Walton Theater, Walton, NY. Not sure if these movie places are equipped with new "digital projectors." It is becoming very difficult to get movies on old fashioned film nowadays.

A few that come to mind are The Strand in Old Forge and also The State in Tupper Lake. Great way to save a rainy day when camping in the Adirondacks.
