Like in Arizona, the state of New York is showing that people who are Democrats and voted Democrat are now being listed as Independents or Republicans. You have until Friday, March 25th to register. This same trick was apparently used in North Carolina and Florida.

Remember New York, today is the last day to register as a Democrat or Republican to vote in the primary.

Why would any Board of Election within a heavily Democratic state change voters from Democratic party to Independent or Republican?

Unfortunately Bernie Sanders isn't liked by the DNC because he originally an independent and the DNC wants Hillary to be the nominee.
