Having been discriminated against on the job and in social settings for being a vet, I'd say that many people in NY are not friendly to vets. There might be some agencies which do a good job, like VOC in Rochester, but beyond that I've experienced discrimination and downright hostility there when people merely found out I'm a vet.

St. Joseph’s College in Brooklyn is 29th, Buffalo State is 65th, NY Institute of Technology is 76th, Niagara University is 98th, Oswego State is 110th, Manhattan College is 115th, John Jay College is 123rd, Nazareth College is 124th and University at Buffalo is 126th, all out of 134 4 year colleges.
