Housing in the Binghamton NY area (Syracuse, Vestal: for sale, real estate, apartments)

Wondering if anyone had the inside track on some rental properties in the Binghamton area. I'm moving from NC. Originally from Syracuse and Binghamton so I'm familiar with the area. Any help is appreciated. Endicott, Vestal, Johnson City are all fine as long as it's a decent area. Looking for a 3 bedroom under 850 (don't laugh at me). I have a job offer and am looking to move very soon. Ive found Craigslist and other sites to be less than helpful. Thanks everybody.

Are you looking for a rental home, an apartment or it doesn't matter either way? I'd also include Endwell, Chenango and Dickinson as well. This may help and keep in mind that because it says "Binghamton" doesn't mean that it is within the city, if that is an issue. There are a lot of older homes in Bingo that are listed for sale but haven't sold. I suggest that you contact several real estate agencies to see if the unsold home owners would consider leasing them.
