Hello 👋🏽 I’ve seen so many post having to do with NYCHA (the headache) but my priority is currently N1 and I live in a shelter I’m on the borough wide waiting list for the Bronx I was certified on 4/17/18 to a 1-Bedroom So I’ve been waiting already 4 months; From anyone’s experience how long have u waited for an offer? should I be calling everyday cause I do check online and still no updates 🤦🏽*♀️ Please help ! With some info
Hi there is a n0 n1 last certification date list they release to the public every 3 months I can post the link of the last one. According to that’s for a 1 bedroom (3 room) the shortest wait is Brooklyn or queens. The are neck to neck and then system island and the Bronx. Although that can change in 3 month Brooklyn and Queens have been the shortest for the last 9 months so if it’s taking too long you may need to request to switch boroughs in person or sending a letter. You can search engine the list n0 n1 last certification date you’ll see people in Manhattan have about a 2 year wait for a 3 room apt
In terms of the wait if you switch to Queens or Brooklyn it will prob be 6-8 months. From what it’s showing the last certification date in Brooklyn is late October 2018. Last uncalled person waiting who is n1
Eligibility interview 6/18 certified 24hours later. Selected for Pelham Parkway Houses 6/25 now waiting for DHS to contact my CM.. filled out app 2yrs ago
