What are these "IBB" stores? (New York, Syracuse: groceries, business)

In mostly upstate New York, there are these convenience stores all with an "IBB". Are they related somehow?

Here are the five that I know for sure are IBBs because it says so on the store itself:

There are also two more (Crown Heights, Brooklyn, and Troy), but they don't seem to have "IBB" on their buildings according to the latest street view data.

Probably, but I’m not sure how. Many owners of the corner stores in Upstate cities are many times Middle Eastern, but again I’m not sure if that is the connection.

They look like half a chore and a rose places to me.

They seem to be convenience stores/deli/corner stores/bodegas. You can get some basic groceries, cigarettes, Lotto, stuff like that. Not exactly a outside the mainstream business model in NY.
