The maxima is a really nice car. It has a powerful engine too but fuel economy isn't that great. I don't have much experience personally but I also think they are very good looking cars

I don't like the styling. 2003 was the end of the last generation of the true sporty-sedan styled Maxima. Every generation since was bloated and the interior looked cheap and plasticky. The VQ35 engine is powerful, but they had problems with plastic timing chain guides failing prematurely.
