but that someone is talking talking to her friend in a jovial manner. What do you do?

This someone is someone you would normally greet with a hi and smile and walk by.

Just say, "sorry to interrupt, but I didn't want to pass by without saying hi!".

I would yell out "Hey how you doing?", wave and keep going.

It depends on the person.

Some people, I'll just walk up to them and say 'hi'. While with some people, I'll let them come up to me, sometimes I'll hide to hope they don't see me and sometimes I see them but pretend not to.

I'm the type to not interrupt people, so I would probably woudl just walk by, and catch them later. It's what I usually do anyway. I haven't really ran into a situation where somebody got mad at me for doing that.

Oh I look like an ass and yell out "HEY! How you doin'!" Of course, the friend's name would be there, but I'd make sure everyone around that area would know I was greeting them.

They'd do the same to me, so I don't mind it, they think there voice booms more than mine.

Depends how well I know the person and if I wish to actually exchange anything with them.

I might nod my head in greeting. I usually don't say anything to anyone, just give the head nod.

If you see me walking down the street
And I start to cry each time we meet
Walk on by, walk on by

Ask them how their day is going and if they are in the mood for a threesome.
