I like being alone mostly, I have come to realize that the only person I can trust is myself... I had a friend for 15 years who just turned on me and stopped talking to me... wrote me a nasty email ending our friendship for no reason..and being let down by so many people is why I prefer to be alone.
Whether it be spending or time with a significant other, friends, co workers, parents, etc OR alone... which do you prefer? If you are alone often, do you wish it'd change? Or do you think you spend too much time with others and don't enough "me" time?
I relish my alone time and spend a lot of time alone. I do things and really like my own company. But I have also learned to seek out company when I need it which isn't really very hard to do. I've found people are, for the most part, open to conversing if you approach them from the right angle.
I enjoy being alone and being with people. Some days after work, I just want to relax and read a book or watch a good movie alone. Other days I want to be around good friends or family. I guess there is no set time for either one in my life. It just depends on my mood at any given time.
I all have is alone time, I've never had any friends. Never been to anything social, no parties, no hangouts nothing. I don't know anything about what friends do together.
I think I've got a nice balance.
DH and I have our lives to ourselves pretty much during the week, on the weekends while he works Saturday mornings I either shop with friends or do my running around by myself (the preferred method)
Most Saturday afternoons and Sundays are riding the motorcycle with friends.
