Ok, I'm not sure which forum to post this but here it is.
How many of you send out Christmas cards? I know some use e-cards or another form of social media. I still send out old fashioned paper cards. I got my hair cut yesterday and my hairdresser said she doesn't.
To paraphrase Dorothy Parker, "I hate writing holiday cards. I like having written holiday cards." I used to send out holiday cards, but lately I can't get my act together to do it. And I do enjoy getting them, and I feel l like it's a tradition that's sadly falling by the wayside.
I don't. Girlfriend however works herself into a frenzy each year around this time, getting cards out to everyone including 3rd cousins and former coworkers from 40 years past.
I send out Christmas/Season's Greetings cards each year. I have narrowed it down and only send to close family and friends. I also usually add one with my cookie trays for people I really like
I'm kind of a fanatic about [what I perceive to be] wasting paper; nothing would make me happier than to neither give nor receive holiday cards. The only people I send paper cards to are the ones who don't have email. The rest all get ecards.
I send Christmas cards to family and friends every year. Have them made and enjoy getting them. Don't know what a holiday card is.
I'm the same way about Christmas cards. For the last few years we've sent a picture of us, puppy included, to Walmart and had Christmas cards made to send out. This year we're just buying boxed cards, but still sending them out.
SO signed a stack and I will get them out. Little personal notes for the recipients.
