You get an invitation...It has your name only on the envelope (possibly your name on inside invite). If there is an RSVP card and it has a blank space before "number of guests attending" that is only for people in the same home (such as families) who received the invitation which would have had their names (specifically or generally). The invitation would have had "Mr. and Mrs."; "Mr. John Doe and Family", etc.
