Thanks so much everyone for your warm words.

I just came back from the hospital and they took him out of the coma for a while to check his breathing. Apparently he can breathe on his own without any mechanical help. At least the oxygen levels on his blood were normal while breathing for himself.

It's a little bit of good news but it's still hard to say if he has any major brain injuries from the time he was deprived of oxygen.

They'll do more checking later this week (his reactions and movements to stimulus, etc).

P.S. My mother was once again washed in tears of course...

I'm sure everyone is hoping for the best for him Prince. You might be surprised and he'll be just fine. I've read about it happening many times.

Fingers crossed for him.

Hope he has a successful recovery and he, you, and the rest of your family go on to live a long, happy life together.

I don't know you, internet stranger, but please accept my deepest sympathies, and condolences. Having gone through a very similar circumstance I know how hard it is, and how impossible it is to understand.

Positive thoughts and energy to you and yours.
