The downside is obviously my ex has treated me badly. Also the place where the party would be would be a 45 minute walk and I am getting over being injured so walking that far is not fun, but I would do it for a fun party.
Should I go or stay away? Am I dumb for wanting to go? Hes a jerk but I just really want to go to a party. I dont know why this is important to me

I would say NO. He is not a friend, you don't keep in touch, and he's out of your life. You both turned the page and moved on. I'm glad that you didn't go. Besides, you don't know how his girlfriend would have felt about you being there.
