Are people really not aware that states communicate and that if he flees the state, it will catch up with him in the next state he is in.
That depends. Not all states participate in the drivers' license compact.
WI, for example, does not; therefore, I could do just that (ignore the charge) and it wouldn't affect my license here. Obviously, this wouldn't work for a criminal charge.
That said, if I get stopped out of state, I'd probably have to pay the bond anyway, on the spot, since it's harder to come after me for it. I've never been pulled over out of state, though, so I haven't tested this theory
I'm not condoning driving 105 mph on a public highway but doing it early in the morning in non-existant traffic isn't nearly as bad as the hundreds of DWI drivers that hit the roads every single night. Strictly statistically speaking, driving fast isnt dangerous. The autobahn is proof of that. Grandma driving half blind at 10 mph below the speed limit is just as dangerous as driving 105 on a vacant highway. Speed doesn't cause accidents, unskilled drivers do.
Having said that the guy driving 105 in a 70 zone needs his license revoked.
Oh please, people regualrly travel that speed on the autobahn in Germany and they have fewer accidents than major US roadways.
Americans can not drive and are wimps
I've driven over in Europe at 110MPH on their superhighways, and even if they raised the speed limit to 100MPH, on various stretches of interstate here, given how little it takes to scare an American, most would do 70 or 80, with one hand gliding their fingers over rosary beads.
Given the lack or abscence of compassion in this country, this person could have been nailed at 90, and the comments would have been identical.

Given the condition of most American hwys it goes beyond stupid to even drive 75 mph...
even at 90mph it is excessive speed and dangerous on mountain road where other scared Americans might be driving 75 mph and get rear-ended by foolishness...

U.S. interstates are not constructed for the same speeds as european superhighways.
I think OP is drive by poster and probably already had this situation taken care of by now and apparently this user has history of reckless driving here his only other thread 2 years prior Reckless Driving conviction in PA. Insurance help please!
Sounds like a speed trap. Not a fan of not wearing seatbelts. But then again, wrecks at that speed doesn't really matter.
