That's a frustrating article, and o so true! Al Jazeera always has top notch reporting, and they speak truth.
Yet ironically, FoxFiction is available 24/7 & its lies & propaganda are worse than any terrorist group for our country. People are blinded by the bright lights & short skirts on Fox. They manufacture and feed hate & ignorance on a daily basis.
MSNBC and as lately CNN have their own proganda and show very little news.
I would loved to see part two and three on this segment they plan to have on their television program.

Thanks for posting this article. It appears unbiased reporting must come from outside the US (one of the reasons I like The Economist).
The gerrymandering map makes the political game playing so obvious, and not just in the 6th.
I mentioned the "tribes" in another thread yesterday. Tribal are exclusive - not inclusive and our politics and social behaviors reflect the increase in tribalism. Robert Putnam wrote about the collapse of the American community in "Bowling Alone". We are watching it unfold. When folks circle-the-wagons - it's usually out of fear. I wonder how long before we blow-up.
Just read the article. How in the world were lawmakers able to get away with creating that 12th district? It conveniently excludes urban areas from districts that they should otherwise be included in. Amazing.
