You get what you pay for!

Nobody is moving to NC for the schools.
Not as high as New Jersey or Long Island, but I pay $8,500 in property tax on my house in Chapel Hill that is valued at about $510K, so no small potatoes. But you're right, I most certainly did not move to North Carolina for the schools. We moved to North Carolina for a job transfer but picked Chapel Hill in large part because of the schools. My husband's job is in Burlington, 32 miles away.

I think the point he's making is that since the GOP has come into power in Raleigh, the moves they have been making are setting NC further and further back. This special legislative session would be the latest example.

And do you think Mississippi is some progressive place because of an auto plant and a planned tire plant?

Lol, like Trump and his minions? The notion that Trump isn't an elitist bag of wind of tickles my fancy. I guess all you need is to be a billionaire with a tired as brand and wear a couple of Made in USA hats to be considered a voice for the working man...what the hell are y'all smoking?

I STILL can't believe a common blue-collar man actually believes this gold-plated-spoon "billionaire" and his nominated cabinet of billionares, worth more than 1/3 of the American Public, will actually work for them. It is quite sad. They're elite, not you. They care about themselves, not you.

Not talking about them. Talking about the press/media who lost any semblance of unbiased reporting. Openly campaigning for one candidate and declaring the election merely a formality.

LOL. So some elitists are ok, but others not? Its going to be fun watching the mental gymnastics the Trumpists will have to go through during the next 4 years as their man fails to carry out his many promises.

To be fair... any objective reasonable person could be forgiven for thinking Clinton was going to win. That's what the polls were saying, and the polls had been pretty accurate for the past four elections--three of which were close elections.

As for elitist opinions, Trump's cabinet has more money than 33% of American households. Seems like you're perfectly willing to listen to elitists, when they have an R next to their name.

I really hope for 2017, posters on this forum Will STOP this relentless on purpose discussing anything that has absolutely nothing with the original post.

There are forum rules posted at the top of every forum that we all agreed to and no one is above the rules!!!
Report bad posts instead of engaging.

This is relentlessly made clear and 2017 trust me bad posts will not be tolerated; Point blank and the period.
