Hey all!

Now I’m ready to buy a house, and I have the opportunity to relocate back to the east coast for work but I’m having trouble deciding on a good location. A safe, affordable place with good schools.

I’m definitely interested in hearing some opinions on this. Thanks in advance!

I'd recommend you buy a house on Honeycutt Lane in the town of Poplar, NC.

I guess first decide if you want subtropical or Piedmont environments. If you want subtropical, do you want to live near rays (Tampa) or mice (Orlando)? If you want the Piedmont, do you work for banks (Charlotte) or biotech companies (Raleigh)? Those simple questions should solve your dilemma, you are welcome.

Umm, there's no way anyone can give you a meaningful answer to your very vague question.

Well I’m considering Florida or North Carolina right now.

Ok. This board is only for discussions about NC. Some questions to answer:

Why NC? Have you ever lived here before? Visited? What type of living environment do you want? (suburban, country, city?) Do you already have a job lined up? Whats your housing budget? Etc., etc.

Your poll needs a 'none of the above' option

You might want to post in the City vs City forum on City-Data.

And you would actually use a poll like this from complete strangers to decide where to live ?
