My wife and 4 kids are going down to check things out on march 10th. Our friends are going to be working. We are coming to see what par of the state appeals to us most. Our friends live in Snow hill so we will be starting in that area. We have 2 weeks to check things out. Where can we go to keep the kids interested while iam looking for a job and a house. Our route is starting in Snow hill and heading west towards Asheville. Where should we stop and look around? thanks for the input

Most of NC's population and jobs are in the Piedmont Region. Much less activity and job opportunities in the Coastal Plain & Mountain Regions.
