Why does ND have 3 cities in top 5 lowest unemployment (top 2 spots)? Unemployment Rates for Metropolitan Areas

If I move to ND do I find job? Is it possible to exercise in ND in winter? It looks like a good place. Thanks!

I agree with Elk Hunter...there are several forums about Unemployment, where the jobs are, etc... etc... and they are basically all the same information. There are a couple reasons ND unemployment rate is so low...probably the major reason is we have more jobs than people to fill the positions. The majority of the available jobs are actually NOT in the 4 largest cities...they are out west...specifically in the North West part of ND around the Williston region. OIL BOOM! The other cities are reaping the benefits of the BOOM and other industries. (Fargo with a huge Microsoft campus...Minot is benefiting from the Oil Boom and a large influx of new airmen at the Air Force base north of Minot ...Bismarck is benefiting from the Oil Boom and it is also the State Captital). But if you don't like the outdoors working at oil rig sites, drive semi trucks hauling oil field equipment-oil-water... you probably won't want to check it out. There are not very many white collar jobs...they are all pretty much Oil Field jobs. HOUSING is nearly impossible. Check out the other posts and you will get caught up on what is going on. Good Luck!
