Just announced today....Northrup Grumman to be a main tenent.... open 2015 and could support up to 3000 jobs.
It will be located near or at the Grand Forks Air Base. The main mission of the GFAFB is the UAS (unmanned systems) and UND is a huge player in the aerospace industry and provides training for pilots. Plus ND is looking to be one of 8 FAA testbeds for intergrating UAS into the manned airspace.
This along with the new fertilizer plant west of town lots of workers headed to our area.
