All over the side roads going to Analomink, Mt Pocono, Marshalls Creek, E stroudsburg and a couple of other locations. Heck, We drove up on two people having relations in a car we thought was abandoned. I can't believe the car was legal to be on the road. Certain areas remind me of what the Catskills have turned into minus the small religious bungalow communities.

I worked in Thornhurst about 15 years ago so I'm very familiar with the area. It was nice around the major Ski resorts. I know there are lovely areas in the poconos and a ton of private communities. There were so many closed businesses it was depressing. Then when i saw what was going on at the SA drop off that made me cringe. Don't get me wrong, Wilkes-Barre is just as run-down minus the 3 blocks around the square. Pittston is just a bunch of parking lots. I hate what NEPA has become.

I'll agree with you ,,

I lived in that area when I 1st moved up here ..
It was beautiful 20 yrs ago ..

People just dont care . I had a friend who's car broke down on rt 447 . he walked to a place to call for a ride , when he got back to his car 1/2 hr later all the windows were smashed out ..

I moved further up north and Own a large tract of land , Its the only way I could get away from people . I also will stop on the road to pick up trash that people throw out of their cars .. Some people just dont give a damn ..
