Hopefully a local will be able to offer some good suggestions for specifics, but I know the twenty-somethings in our area sometimes play on Ultimate Frisbee teams or go to local bars for trivia nights, or join church groups. I know my husband and I had a similar hard time meeting people when we first married and lived in upstate NY. We moved to a very small town, 8 hours away from our families so knew no one and most of the people that we worked with had their own families and were at least 10-20 years older then us. Everything changed when we had kids, but I don't recommend THAT as a way to solve your problem! Good luck!

Yeah, friends with benefits is my guess.
Can't really extend the hand of friendship either. My wife works full time, I run a business 50 miles away and we have two little kids. All my spare time is spent on the CD forum.
On the weekends we hang out with our kids.
That said, we both find time to play ultimate frisbee in the summer several times a month. If interested send me a DM.
