Thanks for most of the replies never actually worked for $9.00 an hour. But i guess thats the pay rate out there. I will look into the pittston area. Not 100% stuck on Scranton areas around are fine. Thanks alot.

$9.00 per hour is not true. It is more like $9.40...
The job market is slow but not much worse than anywhere else I bet. I would search for a while first on all the places you can think of. Careerbuilder, hotjobs, apply to stores in the area online from Brooklyn and see if you get responses. Certainly don't expect to find an entry level CSR position for more than $12 and the top for a job like that around here is $14 to start.
Also, a rule of thumb when reading this website. expect lots of negative whoa is me comments, the sky has fallen and they can't pick it up.

we moved here from long island in 2005.we bought an old victorian on a great street in wilkes barre and paid all cash..so no rent no more mortgage.my job from l.i. transfered me,but i quit soon after..i will take nepa over ny any time.you dont need to make a new york salary to live well..just check out your neighborhood b4 you commit.and best of luck to you and your family..i wish you well..
