I also like the new young girl who does the weekend weather, Brittany something. And of course another recent addition, Sofia Ojeda.
Alas, Reagan Medgie departed WNEP for the green grass of the Weather Channel about a month ago.

It seems unreasonable to expect colleagues to know your religion...

For anyone not aware, Bill O'Reilly was a consumer reporter on WNEP TV back in 1975.

WNEP-TV 16, SCRANTON-WILKES-BARRE TRIBUTE WEBSITE

I was born and grew up in the valley (Kingston). Left the area in 1990 and spent 23 years in the north hills suburbs of Pittsburgh (best thing I ever did by the way). I have since retired to SW Colorado.

WNEP used to have some great on air personalities. They changed quite a bit back when Capital Cities Media bought them (in the 80's I believe). CC brought in the lowest paid people they could find & quality really suffered.

Don't know if Steel City Rising would remember but Pittsburgh's ABC affiliate, WTAE Channel 4 had not only the most but the prettiest on air women in the Pittsburgh market. Don't know how they find them but somehow they do.

Unfortunately, WNEP is a shadow of it's former self compared to the quality of staff they had pre Capital Cities.

Nosey, trouble making, brainless fools spreading totally unfounded rumors are poisen to society. Get a life you low life, welfare recipient scumbag. At least Tom and Npreen go to work everyday and don't suck off of the working man. If they want to be drunk everyday, (which isn't the case,) they've earned it. Get a life, a job, and some brain cells.

I don't know about being drunk on air, but I'd like to buy Noreen a jacket or blazer that fits!

Default About your weathermen

Just want to ask you why does Joe S. get away without dressing up when He does the news. He is very immature and not at professional !

Everyone else is a well dressed person and wondered why He is so SILLY !! Also Kurt should be made to wear a tie. While He took Tom Clark's place doing the weather He was wearing a tie and looked very Sharp.

Please answer this for me. Thanks.

Bill
Danville (Montour County)

P.S. - The chief dresses nicely.

Joe does the weather, not the news. There's a long history of TV weathermen being "goofy" and Joe plays & dresses the part quite well IMO and is very popular.

As commented before, Sned is often polarizing...many people love him or hate him as a 'reporter' (weather that is). There are some middle of the roaders of course. Sure he's goofy, that's his signature. He's an entertainer. If you seek just the fats, he can rub you the wrong way.

His fund raising efforts though, of course self promoting, can't be ignored.

My favorites are the two Dish Channel scrubs who have been crybabying for the last few weeks that they are not at fault that I don't have ABC and it's not fair whaa whaa whaa. Saying how great they are and how evil ABC Execs are. They think they are so good it's the only show that WNEP has been showing over and over and over, they must think we don't tune in to watch the news only to watch how great Dish is.
