I heard in a meeting on Thursday morning that they were slated to lay off 300 people before this weekend. Anyone here anything?

I have not heard a thing on that. I always thought they were hiring.
Well, BAE in Binghamton just over the border needs workers for a new contract, I do know that.......
Quite the ride. One hour from Scranton, but it would be a job with a decent salary.

Tobyhanna is not laying any federal employees off
DS2, a contractor that is working for the Depot is laying off appox 229 temporary employees.
I hate to see anyone lose their jobs, but these people were hired help with the increased workload. And the workload is a little less now.

Here is the Pocono Record article
