Moving to Effort at end of June - Do you know anywhere that is hiring LPN in the area
Hi we are moving to effort the end of june right off of 115 in briar west. i was wondering if anyone knew of any types of places that were hiring LPNs in that area, within 45 minutes or could name places that i could just stop in and do applications and if anyone is an LPN what places pay better that others. thanks so much.

I might try the Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg, which is probably about 20 minutes from Effort. As that area grows, the need for LPNs, RNs, CNAs, etc. will only be increasing. Best of luck!  |

Yep try Pocono Medical Center. Thats the closest biggest healthcare employer in the area. Other then that, you could try Wilkes Barre. They have a Geisinger and Wilkes Barre General Hospital. You also have the Lehigh Valley, which has St Lukes Hospital and Lehigh Valley Hospital.... However Wilkes Barre and Lehigh Valley will be at the upper end of your 45 minute travel.

Palmerton Hospital is another possibility...
We have a few nursing homes, as well... Brookmont is in Effort..Mrs. Bush's in Kunkletown. I don't know if a nursing home setting would be what you'd look for, but it's an option.

thanks so much everyone, i am open to any places. we are moving due to my husband being transfered so I have to find a full time night position in hospital, nursing home etc or even an office hour position in a surgery center, doctors office, rehab, etc. thanks so much for the help.
