yep first one, we are only doing this 2-1/2 years now and still learning ....there is so much to learn, the art of being a good photographer, the skill of the tecnical end and then the editing and post processing end on the computer.... photography is not just about the camera anymore

Congratulations! Can't wait to see more! I miss landscape photography, which is what I did a lot of before I started making my living with weddings. I'm always inspired by Kathleen Connally's site, A Walk Through Durham Township.

You mentioned the post processing. That's the only part I truly dislike. I hate sitting at a computer all day, but for every hour I spend shooting, I spend several hours downloading files to the computer, backing up data, editing (and my exposures are good, so I'm not correcting so much, it's just the digital process.

What are you shooting with?

Congrat's, Matt and good job with those pic's!! I'm not surprised either as everyone else. You do a good job of making your pic's stand out. I do like Susan Weber's pic of a Black Lab on a boat with the lifevest on. Only because I have a Black Lab and he's like a son to me. Keep 'em coming!!
