I'll defer to your memory. I only know that the lamps appeared on a conveyor belt and I still have them. The lamps that is, not the conveyor belt.

If that was, as you say, Jewelcor, then I have never been in Service Merchandise. And if SM was at the Mall, then I'm sure because The Mall, I don't care which one it is in any town, is my least favorite place to go. Well, except maybe the hospital.

I only remember that the Gateway had the S&H Green Stamp store, and the Narrows the coin operated carousal ride.

I forgot about S&H Green Stamps. So I looked it up: https://greenpoints.com/. No more Green Stamps; only Greenpoints. But they are still in business. I remember us saving many books and then redeeming them. I forget what we got? But I do remember that Wes Freeman gave the S&H Stamps.

It was my job to lick and stick them. I remember that mom got a lamp for the living room. I found it in the attic in 2013.

There was also a Spiegal pick-up location there.

Didn't some of the stores use to offer double the S&H stamps as a sales promotion?

My mother was the manager of an S&H redemption store in southeastern PA. Her fingertips were green when she came home from work - the result of having to count the books that were being redeemed.

I'm pretty sure that they did, but that was mom territory.
