Any thoughts on a good place to find tamarind chutney chicken salad on fresh-baked sunflower seed bread? One place I know is Angeethi in Herndon. But someplace closer to Alexandria would be better.

I'm not sure. Alicia was talking about it on another thread, and I got the impression it was a fusion type of dish. The funny thing was, coincidentally I just happened to read that description of a dish at Angeethi, which is an Indian restaurant. However, that doesn't mean it's a traditional Indian dish. Angeethi has a lot of menu items that are not traditional.

On a related topic, there's a Virginia company that specializes in chutney. I forget the name, but "Virginia" is in the title. Anyway, that chutney is really good. Something to look for the next time you're shopping at Harris Teeter or Weggies.
