Also, the book stores. I live in Winchester (about 30 min from you) and we have a small bookstore that has a film night once a week, where people watch as a group and then discuss the film afterwards. The book stores should have flyers or other events, especially music events.

There's also a nice theater in Winchester called The Alamo that's really cool -- serves food and drinks while you watch the movie. They also have cinema film nights, special showings (i.e.,showing the last episode of Lost), and events. The last time I was there I found out that they have comedy nights. I used to go to the Comedy Club in downtown DC but it was always so overcrowded so I'm looking forward to going sometime to this one.

Default Front Royal ideas

Hi,and welcome to Front Royal!
I've been here for 2 years and I especially love Downtown Front Royal's shops & restaurants. Can't beat the personalized service!
I am older and can't offer much help with the friend thing except to say try The Daily Grind Coffee Shop on E. Main St.,a good place to hang out, gather info & use wifi. We have a nice new library,too-on Criser Street.
There are places on E. Main Street that may be seeking part time employees, particularly if you have food service training.
Also check indeed.com and put in zip 22630 and whatever your job search criteria, there are new listings continually.
PM me if you have specific questions. I'm a stay at home mom (of dogs, the kids are grown),I have time to answer.
Refly
