The weather thing has happened twice, but I think it's just a coincidence

I am actually still looking for a place to live. I'm staying in Herndon right now, and tonight I'm looking at a place in Fairfax and another place in Herndon.
Boy, is it daunting. I can't believe how many places have lovely pictures and the place is actually a dive; or you walk in and it smells like...drugs.
I'm really hoping at least one of the two places I'm looking at tonight will be good!
I didn't really want to live in Fairfax, but I can have my dogs there; and right now that sort of trumps living in Reston for me. We will see!

If you are considering fairfax, consider the fair lakes/fair oaks area.

It is walkable and extremely convenient for any kind of shopping you need.

I've seen two apartment complexes there and ended up living in one. They are quite nice.

I drove through Fair Lakes yesterday, it's really nice. I think the place i'm looking at tonight down there is also in Fair Lakes.
