I have been having hard time finding a good hair cutter. Most of the hair-cutters use machine to cut hair or cut hair faster and don't care much about your hair and kind of mishandle sometimes. Can any one recommend a nice men's hair cutter in around McLean/Herndon area, even if its away from McLean/Herndon let me know, because distance doesnt matter when its a good hair cut or food .

Forgot to add affordability, with in 20$ should be ok for me.

Regards,
MK

Good luck finding a good mens stylist for $20. Most stylists (actually should say barbers) that use "machines" will charge around 20.
It took me a long time to find a good mens stylist since there's not much money to be made they don't typically cater to men. I've lived all over the DC metro area and have tried many!
I go to a stylist in Alexandria and can highly recommend him to you but his rates are 40 for a scissor cut, includes a wash and style.
He's a one man shop owner and pays detailed attention to your individual needs. I know he charges 25. for first time visitors as long as your hair is not terribly long.

You may want to try the Bradlee Barbershop in the Bradlee center in Alexandria. I worked a few days right across from that barbershop and it seems like they are old school, mom and pop barbers.

Ironically, one of my easier parts of my move to Kentucky was finding a good black barbershop and I didn't even have to drive to the West side of Louisville to do it.

I always bring a picture of the kind of hairstyle that I want, that way all I need to is to show him the photo and the barber knows exactly what kind of haircut I want. And that's the reason I keep a photo of Colin Farrell in my wallet, don't get any funny ideas.

Default Not sure why you are referring him to a barber!

you may want to try and read the post. He is stating that he does not want a "machine"/clipper cut.

Thanks all. I found a hair cutter at Tysons Corner Bubbles, his name is Hai Pham. He used only scissors and did a very good job. The hair cut was about 30$. He has only 2 years of hair cut experience but took care of hair and would recommend him to any one looking..

30 bucks! Yikes! The most I ever paid for a haircut was $25 at a hair salon in San Francisco a few years ago. I'm a simple kind of guy, I'm partial to the basic "high & tight" hairstyle that any barber can do for $15 or less + tip

I know of a barber shop on Wilson Blvd at N. Jefferson who charges $12 and does a pretty good job. Not too far from McLean.
