(okay, that doesn't make it much better)
For some strange reason I do this every year to see if I can resist. It's like a strange form of self-torture I guess. The worst was two years ago when I was pregnant with my youngest. She came two weeks early with a delivery on 10/30. I had borderline gestational diabetes. No candy before delivery but a heckuvalot after!!!

Well if there is an extremely pregnant lady dancing on your doorstep on Halloween then please don't call the cops.

I 'm so relieved I'm not alone! Had to pick up another bag for the house (even devoured a bag of candy corn that was for a craft project) and one for the office. I normally don't eat candy of any sort, I'm eating my Kashi right now, and largest purchase at our house every month is oatmeal - the good kind. But when those bag hit the shelf in Sep...watch out!

I showed my son the ad one of the local dentists had in the paper to bring in your Halloween candy to send to the troops. My son informed me that the troops do not need our candy b/c it's bad for them and we should send power aid drinks instead. I commended him on his thoughtfullness.

Are you pregnant EuroExpat? Congratulations, that's terrific news!!! When's the baby due? Hey, if you come dancing on my door step, I'll give you extra candy--and the good stuff, too!

About 3 weeks! The darn blizzard last winter.. I guess I'll just have to do some random dances at people's doorsteps and see if anyone will give me candy. Someone mentioned a Costco sized bag, I'll take that!

OMG, you're right--that was just over 8 months ago! I wonder if we're about to have a huge baby boom here? Talk about trick or treat!
