Me too! Between this thread and, the chicken wings thread, and the one for Chinese food in Reston I'm really getting a case of the munchies.

Have you tried the Wine Kitchen yet over in Leesburg? It's my current favorite in the area.

Favorite reasonable meal I've had
  • "Faux Pho" from the Wine Kitchen
    • pan seared corvina in a shrimp pho-based soup broth, served vietnamese pho style.
    • but they pulled it off their menu (and proceeded to give me the recipe, awesome!)
  • Hanger Steak at Rays the Steaks in Arlington
    • Very good steakhouse at a very reasonable price, tough combination to find
    • served with creamed spinach and mashed potatoes, and they have a big wine list of bottles under $30, hard to beat
  • Pork Belly appetizer from Willow Creek Farm, Clydes of Ashburn
    • Apple-braised pork belly on a cauliflower puree
    • again, seems to be seasonal and they removed it from their menu on me

Favorite meal (probably ever) in this area
  • Inn at Little Washington
    • doesn't really need an explanation, just makes me drool thinking about it
    • Link to photos I took and posted on another forum: Dinner at the Inn Photos

My other favorites so far have mostly been in downtown DC

Those are amazing pictures, GoHokiesGo! And everything looks delicious. I especially love the little box at the end. Thanks for sharing. Being a vegetarian, I don't think I'll get there in this lifetime.

Must try it as it's just down the street from the China King which isn't too bad.
