Hi, does anyone have a list of townhouse / home communities with easy access (private shuttle, reliable metrobus, or <1 mile) to Metro?

(Similar to King Farm In Rockville, MD)

Thanks!

It might help if you narrow it down a bit. Which Metro Line, which part of NOVA. My old th community in Springfield had a free shuttle, and was within walking distance to the S-F Metro, nice TH's but not the best part of town. It is called Greenwood..or somthing like that..on Franconia road.

Thanks for the info. Pretty much anywhere along the orange or blue line. Price range 500k-600k.

That $$ should get you into quite a few TH communities. for instance in Kingstowne, where you can take the metrobus to Springfield metro, you can get a 3200 sq, two car garage for about $550K. There are some priced higher, some lower. The other community which is right on top of the metro, would be much cheaper, but with cheaper you get cheaper. Smaller streets, 1 pool, no gym, lack of vistor parking, lack of access to shopping (further drive).

Can't speak about the places along the Orange line, but if you just want a house and no amenties then check out the TH area that sits at the Van Dorn metro at Eishenhower metro. You can't get any closer than that. Safe if somewhat industrial area.
