Will probably be working a new job near King St. Station in Alexandria. Will bring my travel trailer to live in for about a year. Need a monthly rate RV park, with a location accessible to a connection to Blue Line or Yellow Line. I am totally new to this area and how the trains, etc. work. Plain Jane RV park is fine, but not a dump. Must have full hook up and wireless. If this is impossible, is there a safe efficiency apartment similarly located near public transportation, in Alexandria or out? I am hoping to keep the monthly RV rate below $600 including electricity. Can go some higher on the efficiency. Thanks.

The only RV park anywhere near King St. is on Richmond Highway (Route 1) down near Fort Belvoir. Don't remember what they're called and no idea on the rates, but it's probably on Google Maps.

I don't know if this is close enough, but we bought our 5th wheel in this area and have stayed here for Kingsfest at Kings Dominion just down the street. At least it may be a place to stay until you get your bearings down. Good luck!

Full hook-up with free Wi-Fi and cable tv; metered electric $545 (6 mth max Stay)

I think that would be about an 80 or 90 mile drive.

How about Prince William Forest Park's Travel Trailer Village?
Prince William Forest Park - Travel Trailer Village (U.S. National Park Service)
You could go from there to the Blue Line in Springfield, but even that would be a 15 or 20 mile drive I would guess.

I think most or all of the places around here (and there aren't many) are designed for vacationers and so have time limits of how long you can stay, usually only a couple of weeks.
