Hello... i would like to know if the public parking in the National Shrine (Basilica of the Immaculate Conception) is adequate or if it is difficult to find parking there? I would be visiting on a Sunday. Thanks in advance for your time!

Plenty of parking is available, though it's very busy on holy days. There is parking adjacent to Catholic University, and down the hill next to the shrine is a large visitor's lot. You can also park on Harewood Street adjacent to the campus.

I never realized that the Shrine is in "Northern Virginia."

Yep - plenty of parking so you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Even on a Sunday you should be fine.
