I'm running into blind alleys---need to (responsibly) dispose of an old TV and computer that I've been storing for years. I was told that Best Buy would take them off my hands, but they won't accept TVs with screens larger than "32. I could probably get rid of them tomorrow, but I want to make sure they don't end up in some 3rd world hell-hole/toxic chemical dump full of child laborers. Any suggestions?

This weekend in Vienna, Madison High School is having an electronics recycling drive. They do not take televisions, however. They do take computers and other electronics. It is on Sunday, May 29, 2011 & Monday, May 30, 2011. The Collection Center Open from 12 Noon to 6 PM.
