so judgmental...tsk. tsk. I don't know them personally so I can't hate on them because of things that are in the paper about them...judge not lest thou be judged...or something like that. but the fact that there's a thread about their departure is all the validation they need.

You can when they admit that they do it and are proud of taking advantage of people. These people travel around with camera crews from inside edition that document the stupid stuff they have done. They loved the spotlight & the things "in the paper" about them.

Don't forget their charity polo event (some people -- as well as the state of Virginia -- questioned the "charity" part) on the Mall, during which they appropriated the name of at least one embassy and a few companies as sponsors when they were not sponsors at all. Some of the non-sponsors-who-were-called-sponsors actually took legal action to stop being linked with them.

And when Tareq Salahi tried to pay off a $2K lawn-mowing bill with a costly watch (a Patek Philippe, which STARTS at $12K) -- remember that? Two jewelers testified in court that the watch was a fake.

(I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to weasel out of paying the car tax, too!)
