We are planning on moving to the Great Falls area this summer with three elementary (or younger) children. Great Falls ES, Colvin Run ES or Forestville ES appears to be the elementary school we will most likely end up at.

Does anyone have particular recommendations for one of these three (over the others)? Clearly, I have looked up test scores etc. online but it's hard to discern culture, administration, parental involvement, etc. from a distance.

I'm specifically curious as to why Forestville wouldn't have received the 2012 Governor's Award for Educational Excellence (or "silver" or "bronze" when the other two (GF and CR) were recognized in the top category. Am I missing something obvious here?

Thanks in advance,
Cville to Nova
