We are moving to the NOVA area. Wif'es new job is the Pentagon. Start date is on or about 6/18. We will need to move in by then.
Need a good rental agent and obliviously, need one quick. Woodbridge, Manassas area...or even up near Bougainvillea, Herndon etc.
Any recommendations?

You may not find what you are looking for but you will find agents who handle rentals in that area and they can search for you. Also you can call real estate offices in the area and ask the broker in charge for a recommendation of an agent who handles rentals and will help you in your search. There is no charge for this, in this area the commission is paid by the listing broker. By the way, where is Bougainvillea? I thought that was a plant.

6/18 - two weeks! Rentals move very quickly in this area, mostly because people list them a few months prior to moving out and most start their search a couple months prior as well. You might get lucky in the fact that the number of rentals is really opening up right now as school is getting out, but in my experience sometimes it can take that long to get a call back, both from agents and homeowners, setting up appts etc.
This will also limit you to houses that are most likely already empty. Some for a reason.
Of course you seem to be aware of the urgency. Have you considered a short term rental (corp hotel type place) while you search?
