Zenni is great, but you need the measurement between your pupils, which doesn't come standard on prescriptions. You either have to measure yourself as accurately as you can with a ruler, or go to an optometrist and ask them to measure you and then walk out. I've done both.

Costco allows you to see their eye doctor without a membership, but you must be a member to order glasses or contacts through their optical department.

Actually, the PD is on my prescription. I got my last prescription glasses at Zenni, progressives, glare protection, fingerprint protection, shipping and handling, in ten days for $40. They are great. My optomotrist offered me virtually the same glasses for over $800 and it would take 14 days.

That's awesome. The last 3 eye doctors I've used have never included it unless I specifically asked the optometrist to measure it after they gave me my prescription. There's not even a space for it on the paper, they just added it on. <3 Zenni though--I've ordered my glasses from them for at least 5 years. Under $30 for high index lenses and frames!

My wife used to use America's Best (or something like that), but she switched to an optometrist on Route 7, near the Sears in Seven Corners. She likes them pretty well.

I get mine at my optometrist's office in Arlington near Virginia Square. I LOVE my optometrist's entire office! The staff are great, the eye docs are great, the selection is great. They handle all my insurance stuff very easily.

I've bought glasses from Lenscrafters, America's Best, Walmart, Zenni optical, and Coastal.com...so far Coastal has been the best deal for current styles and they are fast to ship. Walmart is good for standard style glasses(a lot of what Americas Best is carried by them) and they do have some nice RX sunglasses. As stated before, you need to get your PD measurement for Zenni...they have a tons of styles but no name brands. Their sports goggles selection is extensive. Hope that helps...
