Working in Washington DC zip 20001

Max we want to spend on rent 1800 a month!

We have a child less than one years old so need good safe child care

-What type of neighborhood environment you are looking for: small town feeling, family oriantated!!


-Community amenities important to you -- YES!!!


Looking for areas that are safe and low in crime, good local social activities!!!

ANY help will be appreciated!!


We have been told that my husband will be working between three areas, frederick, Fairfax, Washington Dc so we need to now find a area to live that is commutable to all sites, please help!!! He will be based at Fairfax most of the time so 30-45 min commute!!

Burke comes to my mind (in Fairfax County) ... I've never liked in Burke, just visited friends, so I can't be too much more specific on neighborhoods there ...

I've lived in Burke off and on for (first for 8 years, then came back for the last 4 years) and really like it. I could fill you in on the neighborhoods, schools, etc if you'd like to PM me.

Think of eastern Loudoun county since you can take Rt 15 up to Frederick -- this means you get to avoid the beltway! Loudoun County is the next county just west of Fairfax County, when Fairfax is.
