My god they put so much salt down, it's like driving down a dirt road. I usually drive with the vents open to get clean air, but it's been so bad lately I feel like I am driving in a dirt road.

Tell that to the 4 people that weren't killed from icy roads.

I actually don't mind the salt. I would much rather excess salt than icy roads...

I don't get. Complaining about salt on the roads? Instead of what? Ice?

Considering they haven't done my road and it's still snow ice covered, no.

Only in America do we complain when a group of workers exceeds expectations.

First world problems! HAHA!

It's always either too much salt or too little, the color of the salt, the size of the salt grains, and weather it is kosher or sea salt HAHA!

I'm glad the roads were treated well enough but I did remark yesterday it sure seems like they dropped a boatload of the stuff. My streets are pretty much white and the stuff is really caked onto my cars more than usual for a snowstorm.

Nah, I don't have a problem with it. My thing now is that every winter, I'm reminded that I don't want to own a black car ever again. Every winter, it gets discolored to a white/gray and looks terrible until I get a car wash in the spring.
