Did I miss them already? I went to the store and looked at today's paper and there were none.

I've been scanning the ads online, but I like to have the physical paper to help me plan my Thanksgiving day/night/Black Friday ordeal.

or·deal (noun) - a painful or horrific experience, especially a protracted one.

Not sure why anyone would willingly put themselves through a self-described ordeal.

Just to get some Christmas shopping out of the way and save some money.

A smart shopper realizes this (BF) is done to benefit the stores more than us. You can get the good deals all the way to Christmas and you don't have to deal with morons out starting tonight. And thanks to BF shoppers (starting Thursday nights) businesses have to open meaning employees need to work instead of being home with their families. In my 50's and I can proudly say I've never gone shopping on Thanksgiving or BF.

In my 30s (well, at least for a couple more months) and I can proudly say the same thing. I'd pay above list price to avoid the crowds.
